I began my DSLR Photographic journey through my love of capturing various forms of wildlife in their natural environment.  This type of photography requires dedication and a lot of patience because animals are not terribly predictable.  While you can educate yourself on migration patterns and feeding habits and coordinate with different parts of the country and world, you still need a little bit of luck on your side - a bit like hunting or fishing, takes many hours!
